Recipes and How to Make Cakwe


Cakwe
*Cakes from mainland China has been known since hundreds of years ago, but still popular among the people.

Ingredients:
500 grams of wheat flour
6 grams baking powder
12 grams of sugar
10 grams of salt
6 grams of ammonium carbonate
300 grams of water

How to Make:
1. Mix flour with baking powder, sifted.
2. Beat in sugar, salt, ammonium carbonate in the water, dissolve until it is completely dissolved.
3. Stir in mixture of flour, baking powder with a solution that had been prepared for about 9 minutes until smooth.
4. Let stand for about 30 minutes, cover with plastic.
5. Knead the dough for about 1 minute.

7. Flatten dough about 0.5 cm thick and 1.5 cm wide pieces or to taste.
8. Polishing with a thin layer of water on one surface.

10. Fry in hot oil 185 ° C until cooked.
